UV unwrapping

Today in matts class, we were attempting to uv unwrap our space ships. I have found out how using different versions can corrupt files. I had opened my model in a different room which uses another version of maya. This lead to my uvs becoming corrupted. I salved a few components other than that I had to restart my whole model this is now making me fall behind so I need to continue doing this once home. uvs.PNGspaceship tex.PNGsome times I need to redo a uv as there is a seam which I feel I can do it in a different more effective way. This is because sometimes a texture can stretch.
